ThinkMedia recruits presenters for ThinkFest 2019

March 12, 2019
By Ayo Johnson

ThinkMedia invites Bermudian academics and independent thinkers of all disciplines to participate in ThinkFest 2019.

The annual conference takes place for the second time in August and September.

Designed to inform, provoke thought and showcase Bermuda’s academics and thought leaders, THINKFEST 2019 is an opportunity for presenters to:

• Build on their speaking and professional portfolio
• Network with others – including potential employers, funders and other independent thinkers and academics
• Engage in a collaborative learning experience
• Build and expand a public profile
• Share their knowledge and expertise

The format will be a 30 minute presentation, 10 minute interview with a host and then open to audience questions. Presentations will be video-taped for web and television broadcast.

If you are interested in presenting, fill in the online proposal form by March 31, 2019.

The series is designed to showcase cutting edge Bermudian thinkers, and provoke debate and as such the topic is up to your discretion, but we ask that it be relatively recent research or a new approach to previous research you conducted.

The topic does not have to be about Bermuda; we are celebrating our academics and diversity of thought in a range of disciplines. Please pass on to any Bermudian who may be interested.
