The One Bermuda Alliance had access to voters' contact data including email addresses in 2012, it has emerged.
But the party says that access was inadvertent and they refrained from using the information at the request of the Parliamentary Registrar.
According to persons with direct knowledge of the matter, the data was made accessible to both parties via web services set up by the Parliamentary Registrar's technical team following a request from then OBA Deputy Chair Michael Branco.
